Our large 3 axis motorized gimbal mounts are equipped with high performance rotary stages and offer excellent stiffness and load capacity making them suitable for a wide variety of applications. The GM-12ER is equipped with direct-read high resolution optical angular encoders mounted to the rotating output spindle. This improves the accuracy and bi-directional repeatability over the standard GM-12 gimbal.
The GM-12ER uses high torque NEMA 23 stepper motors coupled to precision preloaded worm gears providing backlash free positioning. Optical limit and home switches are standard items. The angular encoders provide a reference mark with a repeatability of +/- 1 encoder count.
The rear of the GM-12ER has connectors for a clean and reliable connection.
