D-Slide Vacuum Compatible Linear Slide

Newmark's D-Slide Long Travel Linear Slide offers vacuum compatibility down to 10-7 Torr.

The D-Slide is available in XY and XYZ configurations with optional adapter plate.

The vacuum compatible version of the D-Slide linear stage is dimensionally the same as the standard D-Slide. Every part of the stage has been designed to minimize virtual leaks and outgassing.

All aluminum parts are clear iridited, bearings are lubricated with Braycote 601EF grease, and all wires use teflon insulation. The stepper motor and limit switches are specially designed for use vacuum applications. The fasteners are made of stainless steel and vented if used in blind holes to eliminate virtual leaks.

The drive system utilizes a stainless steel ACME leadscrew with an Acetal plastic drive nut. The drive nut offers zero backlash operation that automatically adjusts for wear to insure zero backlash for the life of the stage.

The D-Slide is offered in travel lengths of 400 mm, 600 mm, 800 mm, and 1000 mm. The D-Slide comes standard with a vacuum compatible high torque size 23 stepper motor. End of travel limit switches come standard on the D-Slide linear stage.
